Project Overview
NRL needed more than a facelift. They wanted a new brand, a shorter domain, and a site that could inform residents in real time without staff juggling updates. We rebuilt their identity, migrated to nrl.ca, and turned the website into an operational tool.
Objectives
- Modernize the brand and simplify the domain
- Reduce phone calls about closures, hours, and conditions
- Make safety and education content easy to find
- Give staff a dead‑simple way to post urgent notices
Key Features
- Complete rebrand with a clean visual system and accessible colour palette
- Live landfill camera feed for on‑the‑ground visibility
- Educational video hub for “what goes where,” safety, and site rules
- Email‑triggered banner notifications staff send an email, the banner appears site‑wide
- Domain migration to NRL.ca with 301s, analytics, and SEO preservation
- Fast hosting + CDN for consistent performance in rural areas
Outcome
Clearer communication, fewer status calls, and a site staff can update in seconds. The new brand and domain improved credibility and made the landfill easier to find and trust.
